"Nonsense. She was probably just flustered by my presence, so she spilled her guts... I tend to have that effect on women." Tom assured her, though with a glint in his eye, clearly just joking. "But, yes, it is that obvious. Almost as obvious as the fact that he's liked you for ages."

Katie laughed and rolled her eyes. "Whatever you say." She then raised an eyebrow at him, "Are you sure? I mean... I always thought he just liked me as a friend." She shook her head slightly, not actually believing that it was true. "Besides... how is it so obvious?"

Tom just shook his head at her question, wondering how people could sometimes be so blind. To all other members of the cast, the sexual tension between the two was undeniable, obvious, and almost amusing, simply because neither of them took any notice. "You've never noticed those glances he gives you from across the room? Or the secret smiles he thinks no one else sees? And that Yule Ball scene... that wasn't acting, I'm sure."

She shook her head. "No... I've never noticed." She admitted, not remembering seeing any of those things. She did remember the Yule Ball scene, it was one of her favorites, and it seemed for obvious reasons. To her and to the rest of the cast but Robert. "I feel very... oblivious." She said with a nod.

"As you should." Tom said brightly with a small nod, grinning in a teasing manner. "It really is obvious. Though, he definately has no clue." Though they were probably two of the brightest people in the cast, they really didn't know much about relationships, did they?

She stuck her tongue out at him. "You know you didn't have to agree with me." She said laughing a little. "Well... I guess it'll just stay that way then." She said with a small shrug. She didn't want to tell him how she felt about him. Katie was never good at doing that, she always said the wrong thing or made a complete fool out of herself. And that was something she did enough in front of him without telling him her feelings.
