Katie sighed as she started walking through the crowd of people. For her birthday Katie's parents had gotten her tickets for a weekend long cruise, which she was finally getting to use. But because none of her friends were free she took her little sister Violet, who seemed to just disapeer on her. She shook her head as she kept walking.
"Violet?" She called, trying to see over all of the people. She promised her parents to keep an eye on her sister since she was younger. "Where are you." She muttered quietly to herself as she kept walking, wondering where the girl could possibly be.

Tom had needed an escape; anything, really, to get away from the press, and have a few days for himself. So, he'd gotten a friend to order him a ticket for a cruise, and was fully planning on ignoring the world and taking time to relax. That is, until a girl ran up to him, positively beaming.
"You're Tom Felton!" she squealed, as though he didn't know. Tom just laughed and nodded, gazing down at her. She looked oddly familiar, like a younger version of someone he knew. Who, though? He couldn't seem to put his finger on it...

As Katie continued walking she heard some girl squeel. Normally she wouldn't have thought about it twice but the girl sounded awfully familiar. She looked around and sighed, seeing the familiar black hair of her sister. She knew it was Violet because just earlier that afternoon Katie has put a few dark red streaks in her hair. Katie walked over to her and saw that she was standing with someone. She couldn't tell who it was through the crowd though.
"Violet!" She called, seeing her sister instantly turn when her name was called. Violet just shrugged at Katie and then looked back at the guy she was standing with excitedly. Katie raised an eyebrow as she got closer to her sister, then seeing Tom Felton. She sighed and shook her head continuing to walk over.

Tom glanced up as the girl turned around, and spotted Katie Leung. They hadn't talked much, seeing as how they were rarely in scenes together, but he recognized her instantly, just because they were both on set a lot. He sent her a smile, then placed a hand on the girl's shoulder. Her sister, maybe?
"She belongs to you, then?" he asked, at once glancing down at Violet. "You need to go with your sister, alright? I'll be on the ship, though, so I'll probably see you around."

Katie smiled and nodded. "Yep she does." Katie looked back over at Violet and laughed at the huge grin she had on her face. Violet was always bugging her to take her to meet the cast, but Katie usually just ignored her. She was afraid she'd act like... well, how she was acting. She rolled her eyes at her sister. "Come on, Violet." She said sighing when she got sent a death glare.

Tom thought it over, trying to think up a compromise, seeing as how Violet hadn't moved from the spot she was in, despite the fact that both were trying to urge her to Katie. "Er... How about I walk around with you, just for a few minutes, so we can chat a bit. Your sister can come too, of course." he offered to her, then glanced up at Katie. "If you want to, of course, and if it's alright with you."

Violet looked over at Katie with big eyes. She sighed and rolled her eyes. "You two go ahead, but-" Violet cut in, "Yes I know, I know... afterward I have to go to the young teens section and meet you back in the room later tonight. You've said it a million times!" Katie glared at her and then started walking by Tom but stopped. "Hope you know you'll probably never get rid of her now." She said quietly enough so Violet wouldn't hear. She smiled slightly and looked back over at her sister before walking toward the edge of the boat to look at the water.

At Katie's comment, Tom laughed and shrugged slightly, already being pulled in the opposite direction by the eccentric girl. After nearly thirty minutes, during which Violet rambled and raved nonstop, he managed a word in edge-wise. "Hey, Violet, it's been great, but it'd getting late, and I'm a bit tired." At the end of his words, he stiffled a fake yawn behind his hand. The girl nodded, looking a bit disappointed, but obligingly walked off.
Relieved of having to listen to the girl's entire life story, he walked over to the side of the boat, close to where Katie was, but not close enough to disturb her. She looked like she wanted a bit of privacy, so he wasn't about to intrude. Lost in his own thoughts, he looked down at the water speeding beneath them, grinning to himself. Finally, a chance to relax.

Katie looked down at the water as she heard Violet start talking to Tom. She couldn't tell what she was saying and she could only imagine. It wasn't that Katie didn't like her younger sister, she of course loved her. Violet was like a friend to her, most of the time at least. When it wasn't that Violet could be very annoying and immature. She still cared a lot about her but hoped she wouldn't annoy Tom too much.
After a few minutes Katie began to drift off into her own thoughts. She began thinking about her friends that weren't from the cast, her family, filming and then her friends from the cast. Once the last thought came to mind thoughts of Robert Pattinson did too. She sighed quietly and closed her eyes. She had had a crush on him since they began filming the fourth movie. She never told him though, she was sure he didn't feel the same, although she hoped he did.

After only a few moments of thinking: about his family, his career, his schooling, and his friends, a loud splash shook him from his thoughts. Looking about, he saw that a young girl had accidently dropped her stuffed bear into the cold depths of the ocean. Immediately, she burst into tears, though no one around seemed to pay any attention to her.
Frowning, Tom wandered over, crouching down so that they were at eye-level. The girl, having obviously seen the Harry Potter movies, gasped and took a few steps back, looking frightened. He sighed; it happened all too often, of course. After all, he played the villain in the movies. Little children were often terrified of him. So, he glanced around the ship, his gaze landing on Katie, hoping that she would soon realize that his attempts to comfort the small girl were futile.

Katie continued thinking until she heard a younger kid crying. She looked over and saw a little girl looking over the side of the ship. She watched as Tom walked over to her, but the girl took a few steps back. Katie figured she recognized him from watching the movies. She had heard him talk about how that happened quite often with younger kids. Katie watched for a couple more seconds before walking over.
"Hi there." She said softly to the little girl who stopped crying as much. "What happened?" She then asked her. She watched as the girl pointed to the water, "M-m-my teddy." She said as she began crying again. Katie walked closer to her and put a hand on her shoulder. "Do you know where your mum is?" The girl nodded and pointed through the crowd to a woman in a pale yellow dress. "Want me to take you over to her?" She nodded again and Katie gave her a small smile before gently picking her up and carrying her over. Once the girl was returned to her mum she walked back over to where Tom was.

Tom retreated a few more steps back, in order to put distance between him and the two, and smiled as Katie took the girl over to her mother. The girl had stopped crying, and merely hiccuped a few times as she was carried. After Katie returned, Tom grinned at her, nodding slightly.
"Thanks. That was nice of you." he said in appreciation. Not that he had expected any less of her, of course, but just wanted to let her know that she had done a good deed. He gestured to the girl, who was currently being tickled by her mother and laughing loudly, then turned his gaze back to Katie. "Looks like she's all better now."

She smiled and looked at where he was guestering too. "Yeah, it looks that way." She looked back over at him. "Wasn't really that big of a deal, I love little kids so I don't mind that much." She said shrugging. One thing knew for sure was that most of the time they were a lot easier to deal with then younger teenagers. She glanced over at the little girl again and then back at Tom.
"My sister didn't bother you too much did she?" She asked hoping she hadn't. But then again if she had Katie would have a good reason not to introduce her to anyone else, even though Violet found Tom on her own. "If she did I'm really sorry."

Tom just laughed, waving off her apology. "Don't worry about it, I wasn't bothered at all." he assured her, with a slight shrug. "She wasn't anything dreadful. She was just basically telling me about her life, her friends, and her family, is all. And a crush a certain girl has on someone in the cast... Robert Pattinson?" he asked, grinning slightly, his eyes bright. "Don't worry though, I won't tell anyone. Though it's rather obvious to everyone, except possibly him."

Katie rolled her eyes when she heard what Violet had told him and blushed about him knowing she had a crush on Robert Pattinson. "Gosh my sister has a big mouth. Is it really that obvioius?" She asked blushing even more then she had been before. "She is so dead," she sighed, "and she wonders why I won't let her meet anyone from the cast."
